The Director of Global Campus Operations will oversee our client’s Global Campus business operations and activities at all of their Global Campuses. This Director is responsible for planning and directing the activities, policies, and developments of international business units.  Director will be responsible to provide the day-to-day leadership across worldwide Global Campus operations.  Ensure that the necessary systems, resources, and management staff are in place to facilitate efficient and cost effective execution of Global Campus operations and aggressive growth initiatives.  Assumes the leadership role to develop and implement Global Campus Operations plan.

Responsiblilities:

Lead, develop, and maintain Global Campus operations to meet profitability and student service-level objectives.
Work to assure acceptance and compliance on operational initiatives with global Directors. Ensure clear flow of communications between Global Campus operations and headquarters.  Work with technology group to create and manage required information and decision support tools.
Develop ongoing system of competitive intelligence to ensure understanding of industry trends and competitor strategies. Provide analysis of relevant data to identify key issues and emerging trends; conduct root cause analysis and provide direction on strategic and tactical actions to enhance company effectiveness.
In collaboration with the Global Director of Human Resources, coordinate the recruitment, training, and development of qualified employees. Communicate job expectations and foster a collaborative climate. Provide guidance and mentoring for staff.
Maintain close communication with all Global Campus sites and facilitate effective communication between program sites and headquarters
Help to develop and maintain the annual global operating and capital budget insuring alignment with overall business objectives and established financial⁄budgetary guidelines to maximize profitability and student enrollment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Master’s in Business Administration or International Business preferred.
Minimum of seven years’ progressively-responsible experience in a senior leadership role with P&L responsibility with an international, multi-location company.
Proven business leader with a demonstrated track record of growing revenues and increasing profitability.
Successful experience within an entrepreneurial (ideally founder-present) company which went through tremendous growth and change during the individual’s tenure.
Exposure to the US college student demographic as a core customer constituent.
Additional language competency in Spanish (preferred).  Knowledge of additional languages (i.e. French, Italian) is helpful.
International travel & living experience is required (Europe strongly preferred).
Competitive and self-motivated with solid quantitative and analytical abilities, a broad business perspective with sound business judgment, common sense and financial acumen.
A proactive, resourceful, action-orientated individual who possesses a strong sense of urgency and strong influencing skills to overcome obstacles to achieve results in a timely fashion.
